Interview at Peace Corps Writers
In this month's edition of Peace Corps Writers John Coyne (RPCV Ethiopia, 68-70) interviews Joshua and me about the Moon Handbook to Nicaragua, our recently-submitted Living Abroad in Nicaragua, and life as a writer. Thanks to the marvels of the Internet, we were able to pull off the interview even though Josh was in Thailand, I was in Nicaragua, and John was in Washington State!
I'm not the first person that was driven to write by the immensity of an overseas experience with the Peace Corps. In fact, there's an entire website dedicated to the family of returned Peace Corps volunteers who put pen to paper and write, whether that work represents something about the country in which they served or something different entirely. See if you recognize any of the following writers:
... and over 700 more.
Update: this interview was republished by Transitions Abroad magazine.
